Literacy is key for our students to be competitive in the real world. "Free Your Star" magazine offers teens an outlet to be heard while they learn how to research, interview and write. Journalists will also gain digital media experience through blogging, photo journalism, digital filming and editing. www.freeyourstar.org. A great vehicle to help English Second Language students learn a new language and acclimate to a new culture.
